Our services in Chinese law are all-round. We have provided legal opinions to securities commissions, securities dealers, and stock exchanges (TSE, NASDAQ, and CSE). Dr. Huang was invited to be expert in immigration and court proceedings on Chinese law. Our expertise excels in transnational litigation, overseas public listing, private placement and financing, and transnational merger and acquisition.

Second, Dr. Huang is a lawyer with 34 years of experience in Canada and 25 years in China. He has worked with some largest law firms in Canada, such as Tory Tory and Fasken Martineau, and in China, such as Genesis Law Firm, and Jurisino Law Firm in Beijing, China. Third, our practice is bicultural, bilingual, and bi-legal incorporating both Canadian and Chinese advantages, as well as the technical and electronic platforms. We are branded as the legal bridge between Canada and China and have undertaken cases of great importance to the trade, investment and commerce between Canada and China, including recognition and enforcement of Chinese court judgment in Canada, dispute involving exchange control, asset freeze and sale in Canada for creditors in China, and pursuit of creditors’ remedies in Canada. Managing Partner
Dr. Dongdong Huang, the founder of Sinicana Law Corporation, is a well-known expert of Chinese business, finance and law in Canada. He worked in several famous law firms in Canada including Fasken Martineau, Tory Tory, and Smith Lyons, providing legal services on investment and securities law. In 1994, Dr. Huang founded his own law firm. He is well versed with numerous successful cases in overseas public listing, private placement and financing, transnational merger and acquisition, and investment consulting.
Dr. Huang has worked with several public companies in North America, including director and vice president of Spur Ventures Inc., director of First Fortune Investments Inc., acting chairman and director of China Diamond Corporation, advisor of Advisory Board of Wex Pharmaceuticals Inc., and the President and CEO of Genius World Investments Limited.
Dr. Huang has studied in Wuhan University and York University and graduated from University of Ottawa with an LL.D. degree. He is a Member of Canadian Chinese Writers’ Association and a research fellow at China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies. He is also an adjunct professor of Wuhan University, Yanshan University and Qingdao University.

黄冬冬博士曾担任北美数家上市公司的董事及高级管理人员，其中包括加拿大斯帕尔资源有限公司董事副总裁兼合资公司的总经理、加拿大第一财富集团执行董事、加拿大中国钻石有限公司董事长助理、加拿大威克斯医药有限公司咨询委员会委员、天才世界投资有限公司（交易代码：GNW）的总裁兼首席执行官。
黄冬冬曾就读于武汉大学和加拿大约克大学，于1992年毕业于加拿大渥太华大学，并获得法学博士学位。黄冬冬博士是加华作家协会会员、中国边界与海洋研究院的客座研究员、武汉大学、燕山大学和青岛大学的兼职教授。
